WAMMA Brandon enjoyed a very successful day at the Bulldogs Invitational Wrestling Tournament in Winnipeg on Saturday, as all 11 wrestlers representing the club came home with medals. The wrestlers, aged 7-13, are coached by Michael Clark and Lisa Noctor and train out of their new dojo at 1203 Princess Avenue.
While the club has been in existence for 10 years this is the second year WAMMA Brandon has offered a youth wrestling program. WAMMA Brandon is part of an affiliate group of clubs that currently have eight locations across the province. In addition to wrestling (Oct.-May) they also offer other youth programs including Bully Safe Kids and Youth Jiu-Jitsu.
