Brandon Police Service Media Release
At approximately 5:50 p.m., a female contacted Police advising that she hit a male pedestrian with her vehicle at 6th Street and Lorne Avenue. The female advised that when she went to check on the well-being of the male pedestrian he became aggressive and started pulling her hair and punching her vehicle. A passerby intervened and held the male suspect until Police arrived. The suspect was found to be highly intoxicated and was taken into Police custody. The 28-year-old man was arrested for Assault and lodged at the Brandon Correctional Center to be released when sober to attend Court in February.
