Mabuhay! The Philippine Pavilion is the mirror of the Filipino culture and traditions, a showcase of talents in music and dances.

The Philippines, also known as the “Pearl of the Orient Sea”, is a paradise in the Southeast Asia and a the home of the most beautiful women (yes! Ms. Philippines is the reigning Ms. Universe) and tourist spots in the world. Visit our pavilion and see the beauty of our country, try our local food, and watch and  join the stage for our musical entertainment. You must not leave the Pavilion without trying our flavourful food – stir-fried noodles, pork and chicken adobo, spring rolls, rice, dinner rolls, and our refreshing tapioca pearls and gelatin cold drink. Entertainment will be dances from different parts and ethnic groups of the Philippines, and hip hop or street dances, a genre that gained us world-wide recognition.

The country has been reaping medals left and right on the hip-hop scene since 2006, on the world’s largest and most respected street dance competition, World Hip Hop Dance Championship organized by Hip Hop International, with the Philippine All stars putting the Philippines on the map of Street Dance by winning several World Championship titles in the prestigious contest. In the most recent competition last 2016, Philippines emerged as the World Champions in the Mega Crew division and Bronze medalist in the Varsity division. Filipino parties are never complete without singing! Filipino singers are known internationally for their great talent in singing. There will be a band performing to give you a taste of Original Pilipino Music (OPM). At the last hour of our Pavilion on both days, we will hold an open mic. So get ready to go on center stage! The Filipino community in the Westman area (Brandon, Souris, Neepawa, Killarney) are coming together to bring you fun and entertainment, as you discover the beauty of the Philippines, shining through. We hope to see you at our Pavilion on January 27 (6 – 11pm) and January 28 (1 – 11pm).
