Brandon Police Service Media Release

On Friday morning police received a report of a male staying at a west end hotel who had fraudulently identified himself as an employee of a national company to obtain a hotel room. When police arrived on scene, the male jumped out of the hotel room window in an attempt to evade police. Police K-9 were called and tracked the male to a garden shed in the area where he was taken into custody without incident. Investigation determined that he was responsible for defrauding a number of Brandon businesses of food, lodgings, tools and computers. A 31 year old male, of no fixed address, was lodged at Brandon Correctional centre and will appear for remand in the morning
