BRANDON, MB, September 30, 2017 – Shoppers Mall, owned and managed by the Morguard Real Estate Investment Trust, is pleased to announce the signing of a lease agreement for a Tommy Gun’s Original Barbershop. The barbershop is scheduled to open in early 2018 next to the GoodLife Fitness.
“The men of Brandon are in for a treat with the arrival of Tommy Gun’s,” said Kim James, General Manager. “We’re delighted to welcome them to Shoppers Mall, where they will be a perfect complement to our existing slate of more than 90 retailers.”
Tommy Gun’s Original Barbershop is a tribute to the 1930s Chicago barbershop grooming experience but with all the modern amenities and styles of today’s hair salons. The chain has over 60 locations across Canada and offers haircuts, world-renowned hot towel straight razor shaves and unique grooming products for men. Tommy Gun’s Original Barbershop in Brandon will be owned and operated by Chad Cumming, who was born and raised in Brandon.

Recent tenant activity has solidified Shoppers Mall as the central, vibrant hub for the growing Brandon community. The introduction of Tommy Gun’s Original Barbershop will complement the redevelopment of the mall space which, to date, has included the introduction of a Sobeys extra grocery store, GoodLife Fitness and Dollarama. Other recent new tenant announcements include a Shoppers Drug Mart and three freestanding restaurants, all of which are scheduled to open in late 2018.
