The 35th Annual C21 Fun-Raiser will be held on July 26th at the Glen Lea Golf Course. This year they are doing the fun-raiser in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters. In the past they have donated to the Ashley Neufeld Softball Complex, Boyd Stadium, and last year to the Massey Manor.
The Fun-Raiser has always been a golf tournament but this year they’re adding a new element to the day’s festivities, a bocce tournament. Cam Toews tells bdnmb.ca that each year they have a lot of people who will say they’d like to be part of the fundraiser but don’t golf or like to golf. Adding the bocce tournament will give these individuals an opportunity to be there supporting the event without having to golf. It’s a very easy game to play.
The format is 2 person teams and bracket style tournament with a 3 game minimum. The cost is only $100/team to enter and that includes your meal after.
