Cat burglar: Female accused of stealing pet

A 32 year old Female from Brandon has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Theft under $5000.  Police had received a report that a cat had been stolen from a residence on 11^th Street.  An investigation revealed a suspect and when Police attended to the suspect’s residence the cat was located inside.  Also located inside were numerous items stolen prior from a retail store.  The Accused has been released from custody to attend court on February 12^th.
