Studio Tales – Stompin’ the Covid
An art tale “in the making” on Ridding the Virus

On Friday, May 1st the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba (AGSM) is launching its
first Stay-at-Home Creative Art Competition for all ages. Anyone can contribute and be eligible to win!

Works must portray the coronavirus in some shape or form. Participants are urged to use their imagination and creativity to make COVID-19 end its demise. All mediums and formats are welcome; this includes 2D and 3D works. Anyone is eligible to participate and may submit one entry within three categories: Children up to 12 years, Teens 13 – 17 years, and Adults 18 years and up.

The jurying process will take place June 1 – 5th and selected works will be posted for a like/dislike voting process via our Facebook page. Top picks will be displayed on the AGSM website. Winners of each category will received a FREE Studio Class or Workshop of their choice once the AGSM opens their doors again! Prizes can also be transferable as a gift to a friend or family member. Please send a digital photo of your submission (3D entries can send up to 3 photographs) with the following details to:

• Name of artist
• Age
• Title of work
• Medium

All works entered may be used in future “Studio Tales” activities with creator recognition.
