At approximately 2 am, Tuesday morning, officers attended a report of a gunshot at a residence on Princess Avenue East. The investigation revealed that an unknown suspect shot a bedroom window out of the residence with a shotgun. Pellets and wadding from the shotgun shell were located inside the room. No one was injured during the incident. The occupants of the residence went elsewhere for the rest of the night. Members of the Major Crime Unit are investigating.
