Brandon’s Cayden Glover is moving on to play hockey with the Niagara Purple Eagles (ACHA – DIV I) next season. Glover spent last season with the Dauphin Kings and led the Kings in scoring  with 33 goals and 19 assists in just 38 games played.

Liam Pauls and JJ Love of Bobcat men’s volleyball have cracked the roster for Canada’s NextGen Team. The Next Gen squad, under the guidance of head coach Dave Preston, features up and coming talent from across the country. This team will be focused on training and competing at the NORCECA Pan Am Cup, August 24 to September 1, in Mexico.

The Western Canada Hockey Academy is partnering with EVO Golf Brandon to launch a new golf development program for Grades 5–8 starting in the 2025/26 school year.

The Everett Silvertips have signed fifth-overall pick Reid Nicol to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement. Nicol registered 35 goals and 23 assists for 58 points in 48 games played with Brandon Wheat Kings U18 AAA in 2024-25. He was selected fifth-overall in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft.

Brandon Wheat King forward, Matteo Michaels has committed to the University of Vermont to join the Catamounts for the 2026-27 season. Forward Nolan Flamand also recently committed to the Merrimack Warriors!
