On May 31, 2022, shortly before 5:00 pm, police responded to a request to assist in checking on two children who were in an unsafe situation at a residence as the adults present were reported to be under the influence of either drugs or alcohol. The children were temporarily removed from the unsafe situation. A 32-year-old male became confrontational with officers and threatened to cause them harm. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will be released once sober to appear in court on July 25, 2022 on a charge of Uttering Threats.
