At 11:45 p.m. on Tuesday, a male and two females were reported to be chasing another individual in the area of the 700 block of 10th Street, and one of the suspects was reported to be armed with a hatchet. On police arrival, two intoxicated females were located. A 33-year-old female from Brandon was still in possession of the hatchet when located by police. She was lodged at the Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court facing a charge of possession of a dangerous weapon, once she is sober. The second female, a 50 year old female from Brandon, was lodged at the Brandon Correctional Center as well on outstanding warrants of arrest.
