BDNMB.CA is extremely pleased to announce that KYU Grill will be returning to Food Truck Warz this year. They had some insanely long lineups at our first event in 2017, something they will be looking to repeat in 2019. In Winnipeg they have been named Winners of Food Truck Wars: People’s Choice Award four years in a row (2015, 2016, 2017, & 2018). They have also won the award for Best Presentation twice (2016 & 2018). KYU Grill is known in Winnipeg as the home of the HEROSHIMA, an original grilled-skewer sandwich served on a sweet bun with Japanese inspired sauces and toppings. Popular menu items include the "Noriyka" (pork skewer, teriyaki sauce, and toasted nori) and the "Spicy Mayo" (chicken skewer, spicy mayo, tempura crumbs & sriracha). 

June 26, 2019 [Dauphin, MB] – Today marks the start of the largest 30th Birthday celebration of Canada’s longest running country music festival. “Whether it’s your 1st or 30th time at Dauphin’s Countryfest, we aim to make this an experience you will talk about all year long.” -  Ann Ransom, President of Dauphin’s Countryfest. This year’s lineup boasts the artist of the decade, Jason Aldean, a slate of numerous and various musical artists playing on three stages over four days in addition to a throwback celebration of 30 years of bringing the biggest country music acts to the largest outdoor amphitheater. Dauphin’s Countryfest is a not-for-profit organization that generates an annual economic impact of $10 million. The festival injects over $150,000 of direct cash contributions to volunteer community organizations each year. Introducing "Buff's Meaty Goodies", a food truck serving - you guessed it - meat inspired dishes for the hungry food truck connoisseur. While new to the food truck scene, the truck will have no shortage of hungry fans lining up to try their signature burger made with Buff’s homemade sausage patty and cheese. Other menu items include a schnitzel sandwich (pork schnitzel pressed sandwich with cheese, mushrooms & special sauce), a Sam Sandwich (pork and ham pressed sandwich with pickles, cheese and mustard), BBQ pork bun, and mini corn dogs. Sure to fill your belly, Buff's Meaty Goodies will me making their first appearance at Brandon's Food Truck Warz this September 13-15.

Serena Ryder is coming to Brandon on December 10 for a concert at the WMCA. The Toronto singer/songwriter has won multiple Juno awards including Best New Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, and Artist of the Year. Her single “Stompa” is 4x platinum in Canada. What I Wouldn't Do, Electric Love, and Weak In The Knees are other notable singles. Tickets go on-sale June 24 at 10:00am. CFB Shilo is hosting its annual Canada Day Celebrations starting at 4pm. The day starts with a number of family activities including face-painting and henna tattoos, inflatables, local bands, a beer garden, a food alley, and a family movie (Wonderpark). The CWE will also be hosting a wrestling card featuring WWE Legend The Genius Lanny Poffo. The wrestling show gets underway at 8:30pm inside the Community Centre Annex (Building L25) Tete Du Point Rd. Doors open at 7:30pm. A fireworks show is to follow at 10:45pm.
