Opportunity Bridal-Brandon Wedding Dress Clearance Sale

A wedding dress sale, Opportunity Bridal, which travels to cities throughout Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatoon and Alberta is going to be setting up a one day pop-up store in Brandon. The sale is slated to take place at the Keystone Centre on Sunday, May the 7th. Hundreds of wedding dresses, from some of the best international designers, will be on sale with prices ranging from $199-$899. Dresses (600+) are stocked in a wide array of sizes (from 2-28) and will be available on a first come, first served basis. Partial Lineup Released Rockin’ The Fields Of Minnedosa for 2017

Earlier this afternoon the organizing committee of Rockin' The Fields Of Minnedosa released a partial list of entertainers who will be at taking part of the annual festival, held on August 4th-6th. The Arkells, won the Juno Award for Group of the Year and the Juno Award for Rock Album on the year in 2015, are featured as one of headliners for this years events. I Mother Earth, Big Wreck and the Trews are among the other bands headed to the stage at the shores of Lake Minnedosa. Long time Canadian rockers Glass Tiger, Joey Landreth, Terra Lightfoot, and the Deadflowers round-out the initial lineup released. Additional bands are to be announced in the months leading up to the festival. Early bird pricing is available until March 31, 2017. Westman Relay for Life Fundraiser Event Looking for Entries

On June 3rd, 2017, the Canadian Cancer Society will hold it's annual Westman Relay for Life Fundraiser event at the Keystone Center grounds from 2-11pm. Come on out and show you support for friends and family who have been affected by cancer. There will be LOTS of local businesses and entertainment involved with the event, providing family fun for everyone! Music, children's games, and local vendors galore! The Relay for Life is the flagship fundraiser for the CCS, and needs your help supporting vital, groundbreaking cancer treatment research, support and care programs, and many other assistance efforts. FUNNYFEST COMEDY on TOUR-Brandon MB

Huggy's Family Restaurant will be playing to host to the 16th Annual Funnyfest Comedy Tour on Saturday, March the 4th. This years stop in Brandon will showcase two comedians, Joe King and Stu Hughes. Stu Hughes has performed at over 1,500 events, and can be best described as funny, articulate and quick witted. Joe King is an accomplished impressionist who won the 2009 Funnyfest Talent Search. There are 2 different ticket options available for purchase. If you're only wanting to attend the comedy show then the cost is only $25.00. Option 2, the Dinner & Comedy Package, includes the comedy show as well as a pizza & pasta buffet prior to the show. The pizza & pasta buffet starts at 7:00 pm, and the show gets underway at 8:30 pm.
