Floorball Brandon will be making several exciting changes/additions to their program this summer for the 2019 season. The league, established in 2011, will see games played at the Healthy Living Centre on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Dan Landry told bdnmb.ca that there were many advantages to moving venues including a more central location and seating for the parents. Previously games had been played at Nurses Residence Gym. They have also added a U17 division for players born in 2005-2004-2003.
Floorball Brandon has entered into working relationship with Floorball Canada and will be promoting a top tier player each year to the Men’s National Team. This player(s) will get an opportunity to represent Canada at the National Level at the the Floorball Championships 2020 in Helsinki Finland.
Games ares scheduled for July and August. Registration for the 2019 season can be completed here. League alumni include Tanner Kaspick, Ty Lewis, Calen Addision, and Connor Gutenberg.
