On May 27, 2022, following an investigation into drug trafficking, members of the Organized Crime Section conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of 18th street, and search of a residence on Bison Way shortly before 9:00 pm.
Police seized approximately three ounces of Cocaine, with a street value of $8800. Also seized was cash and machetes.
Arrested was a 26-year-old female. She was later released to appear in court on July 14, 2022 on charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Proceeds of Crime and Possession of a Weapon.
Two other individuals were also arrested, but later released with no charges.
