Whitehead Fire Department, Brandon EMS and Blue Hills RCMP responded to a collision at the intersection of Highway #1 and Highway 1A near Kemnay Thursday afternoon.
Two SUVs collided, causing both to run off the road into the median of Highway #1. Whitehead firefighters used special extrication tools to cut off the driver’s door of the silver SUV, and extricate one victim. The silver SUV appeared to have significant damage to the driver’s side door area.
At least two people left the scene in two separate ambulances.
