Firefighters Protect Home from Grass Fire

On Tuesday afternoon Brandon Fire & Emergency Services responded to a large grass fire off of 33rd St. East, south of Patricia Avenue.

The fire appeared to have burned a large area of field/brush before extending close to a nearby house. Firefighters were able to successfully keep the fire away from the house.

No word on a cause for the fire at this time.
