The 2020 IG Wealth Management Bobcat BIRT Cup held on July 10 raised $45,000 for local causes. The Cerebral Palsy Association of Manitoba Westman Chapter, Pawsitive Communities, baseball diamond upgrades in Oak River, the Brandon U18 Wheat Kings hockey club, Making Faces and the Bobcat BIRT Cup Athletic Scholarship Endowment were among the organizations listed to receive support. The winning team (Tom Price, Don Thomson, Dale Coulter, and Warren Watt) shot an impressive a 17-under 55 at the Shilo Country Club to capture the title. This year’s tournament marked the 3rd year that the event was run by BU Athletics.
