The North Central Hockey League (NCHL) will feature eight teams this season including new additions in Langenburg and Waywayseecappo. Langenburg had previously played in the Triangle Hockey League in Saskatchewan. Each of the eight teams will play a 20 game season and the league will be divided into two divisions (North and South). Games are expected to begin in the first week of November.
Three teams who played in the league last season will not return in 2019/20 including the Foxwarren Falcons, the Rivers Jets, and the Shoal Lake Eagles.
