The tournament has been around since 1993, making this year the 23rd annual, being held on June 11th at Glen Lea Golf Course. The tournament is a ladies only golf tournament (which is rare in our area) and all proceeds from the event are donated to cancer programs and research. We are proud to say that for the past five (5) years we have been able to donate $5000 annually. The donation takes place in front of the tournament players as part of our event program. Past recipients of our donations have included Murray House and the Brandon Regional Health Centre.

The most important reason for the tournament & the great day that we all have, is the contribution that we are able to make towards cancer programs and research. Almost every single woman that has participated or volunteered with The Pinkest Owl tourney has been touched by some form of cancer. This brutal disease touches the hearts of our sponsors and participants and we are proud as a committee to help invest in research, education and promotion programs related to breast cancer.
