At approximately 11:30 pm, police received a report of an impaired driver. The vehicle was eventually located near Hwy #1 and 18th street N. The driver, a 23-year-old male, was arrested and provided samples of his breath that were over the legal limit. He was released to a family member; however, his actions became dangerous as he attempted to jump from their vehicle while it was in motion. The family member sought help from police in keeping him safe. He was lodged and will be released once sober. He will be appearing in court on July 4, 2019.
