Motorists and residents will want to be aware of the forthcoming closure of Richmond Avenue between 20th Street and 22nd Street, beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, July 23rd and lasting until end of day on Friday, August 10th. The closure is necessary to complete a planned water main replacement and land drainage sewer installation.
Signed detours will be in place to help the public navigate the construction. Local traffic provisions will be made to allow directly-impacted residents and businesses to maintain access to their property. Following the full closure, additional partial lane closures are expected for the remainder of the summer to accommodate various portions of the work.
