Game 1 – Winnipeg Lightning 5 Central Energy 1

  Gill Woodward had a pair of hits and Maddie Sutherland had a two-run double to lead the Lightning to the victory.  Kennedy Linklater had a solo home run to account for Central’s only run. Nicole Hammersley picked up the win for the Lightning while Ashton Dueck took the loss for Central.

Game 2 – Manitoba Thunder 5 Manitoba Angels 1

  Danica Ruest’s solo home run started a five-run sixth inning to power the Thunder to the victory.

Game 3 – Smitty’s Terminators 7 Westman Magic 0

  A five-run second inning helped the Terminators to the lopsided win in the opening game of the Championship for the host team.  Rianna Aasen had a solo home run as part of the big inning, and also singled and scored a pair of runs.  Jasmin Pipella took the loss for the Magic while Danielle Waychyshyn and Kaitlyn Slator had the only hits for Westman.

Game 4 – Central Energy 6 Manitoba Thunder 3

  The Energy used a four-run fourth inning to even their record at 1-and-1.  Nikki Newman and Hailey Yuskin had home runs for Central while Kassidy Cunningham went the distance to pick up the win.  C.C. Cyr took the loss for the Thunder, who had jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the 1st inning.

Game 5 – Westman Magic 2 Manitoba Angels 0

  Arjana Eilers recorded the complete game shutout for the Magic.  Sydney Cobbe and Kayla Burt scored the two ruys for the Magic.  Miranda Holod took the loss for the Angels.

Game 6 – Smitty’s Terminators 9 Winnipeg Lightning 0

  Smitty’s scored three runs on the second and third innings to claim the victory over the Lightning.  Jordyn Staples pitched the complete game shutout for the Terminators.  Gill Woodward took the loss for the Lightning
