Theft Under $5000

On February 3rd, a store in the 900 block of 18th Street North reported that a male suspect put on a pair of boots valued at approximately $100 and left the store without attempting to pay. Police quickly located the suspect in the Corral Centre area.

A highly intoxicated 47-year-old male was arrested and charged. He was held in BPS detention cells and will be released once sober via Undertaking. His court date is scheduled for April 13th, 2026.

Theft Under $5000

On December 27th, 2025, a theft occurred at a store in the 3400 block of Victoria Avenue where a male left with approximately $85 worth of meat in his jacket. On February 3rd, 2026, the suspect was located and arrested by police. He was later released via Appearance Notice with a court date of March 5th, 2026.

Possession Charges / Failure to Comply Release Order

On February 3rd, a traffic stop was conducted in the 1200 block of Van Horne Avenue. During the stop, officers observed a spoon with cocaine residue inside the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of approximately 8.5 grams of psilocybin located in the glove compartment.

A 34-year-old female and a 44-year-old male were arrested and charged in connection with the incident. The female was also charged with Failure to Comply with a Release Order, as she was bound by conditions prohibiting drug possession.

The male was released on an Appearance Notice and is scheduled to appear in court on April 9, 2026. The female was held in BPS detention cells for a court appearance on the morning of February 4, 2026.
