The Westman Wildcats swept the best of 5 series against the Winnipeg Ice to claim the U18 Provincial AAA Female Hockey League for the 2021-22 season. In Friday’s series clinching 5-2 win, Makenna Beard & Paige Kozak each scored twice. Madison Weber chipped in with one as well while Grace Glover made 26 saves to pick up the win. Glover was also named playoff MVP. The team now prepares for a matchup (best of three series) against the Saskatchewan U18 AAA Female Hockey League winner to see who advances to the 2022 Esso Cup in Alberta.
