Saturday afternoon Brandon Fire and Emergency Services responded to a grass/brush fire south of Brandon, off of Road 46N. The fire was threatening a house, and burning rapidly through dry grass and brush.
Firefighter/paramedics were able to successfully contain and extinguish the fire, which appeared to destroy a small shed or pile of rubbish.
