Brandon Fire and Emergency Services and RCMP responded to a structure fire off of Veterans Way about a mile and a half east of Chater.
The building, which appeared to maybe be a house, was completely engulfed in flames. Black smoke could be seen from as far away as Brandon.
No word yet on the cause of the fire or if there were any injuries. Firefighters were still on scene as of around 7:45pm.
