On Thursday, Police arrested a 40-year-old man from Brandon for Sexual Assault X2, Sexual Interference and Luring a Child by Telecommunication. Police entered into an investigation on September 21st after receiving a report that the suspect sexually assaulted a female youth. The investigation revealed that the suspect and victim met on a social media site and the suspect invited the victim to his residence where he is alleged to have forced intercourse on the youth. During the course of investigation, Police were alerted that in July the suspect allegedly sexually assaulted a different female youth. The suspect was lodged at the Police Service and as scheduled to appear in Court on Friday.
