On September 8 2022, at approximately 7:00 am, police responded to a report of a male who had assaulted a security officer at the hospital. The security officer was not injured. Police arrested the 47-year-old male suspect was and held him at Brandon Police Service, as he would not calm down. He was later released once he calmed down, and he will appear in court on November 14, 2022 on a charge of assault.
