Killarney Figure Skating Club on behalf of Skate Canada Manitoba Presents: The 2020 Prairie Regional Synchronized Skating Championships.
[Killarney, Manitoba] – Killarney Figure Skating Club and Skate Canada Manitoba will present the 2020 Prairie Regional Synchronized Skating Championships, taking place at The
Shamrock Centre on February 1st-2nd, and featuring over 300 synchronized skaters and 29
teams from across Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
The Killarney Figure Skating Club is proud to bring The Prairie Regional Synchronized Skating Championships to Killarney for the second time in the past five years. This synchronized skating competition will feature a wide range of skaters from beginner to adult. The purpose of this competition is to provide a developmental and competitive experience for synchronized skating teams which allows them the opportunity to qualify for the Skate Canada Synchronized Skating Championships in Novice, Intermediate, Open, Junior and Senior categories. The top team in each of the five qualifying categories in every Region may advance to the National Skate Canada Synchronized Skating Championships.
A detailed schedule will be available from the Skate Canada Manitoba website 2 weeks
prior to the competition. Gate entry will be $10, Ages 6-12 $3, 5 and under free or weekend pass $18.
This is a great opportunity to come out and see what synchronized skating is all about, while supporting your local skating club and local synchro teams.
