Traffic stop leads to drug trafficking charges for a Brandon man
A 25-year-old Brandon man is facing charges after a routine traffic stop.
It happened Friday at 5:20 pm in the 700 block of 17th St.
A further investigation found the accused to be in possession of 46 grams of Cocaine, 1.5 lbs of Marihuana, 95 grams of cannabis resin and a large sum of cash.
The accused was charged with Possession for the purpose of trafficking Marihuana, Cocaine, and Cannabis Resin, as well as Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. Following his arrest he was later released on a PTA with OIC Undertaking.
