Last night a black Jeep hopped a large curb on 1st Street just south of Pacific Avenue and smashed into a building that housed Wheat City Elite Taxi.
There were skid marks on the concrete curb left by the Jeep before it went over the edge, which seemed to be about a 3 foot high drop. The Jeep smashed into the side of the building causing extensive damage, and leaving a gaping hole in the wall.
Nobody was injured, it is unknown what caused the Jeep to leave the roadway.
