16-year-old suspect arrested in stabbing: Brandon Police

On October 14, 2021, at approximately 8:21 am police responded to a report of a 23-year-old male who had been stabbed near the 200 block of 5^th street.  The male was treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Investigation into the stabbing led members of BPS Major Crime Section to conduct a search warrant on a residence on Cornel Bay, where they located and arrested the 16-year-old male suspect.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court on November 9, 2021 on a charge of Aggravated Assault.
