The City of Brandon is thrilled to bring back the Christmas Concert (formerly known as the Christmas Open House)! This celebration will take place Sunday, December 12th, 2021 at the Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium (WMCA), located at 205 20th Street. Doors open at 1:00 p.m., with the program to start at 1:30 p.m.

This free event offers a special Christmas concert performance by the Brandon Community Orchestra.

“We have moved the concert from City Hall to our beautiful WMCA and are, indeed, extremely fortunate to have such a magnificent venue available to us in Brandon,” notes Mayor Rick Chrest. “This space will allow for us to bring back our cherished Christmas concert in a safe manner.”

Come out to enjoy a variety of familiar Christmas songs and classical pieces performed by the skilled musicians of the Brandon Community Orchestra, whose members range in age from pre-teen to seniors and hail from various communities in Westman. Students from the Suzuki Strings program at Brandon University will also give a special performance and will join the orchestra for several numbers.

All provincial public health orders will be followed, including the mandatory mask requirement, social distancing, and proof of full vaccination for all those in attendance, aged 12 and older. Children aged 11 and under must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult. Limited seating available on a first come, first served basis. Refreshments will not be provided.
