On November 29, 2021, shortly after 12:00 pm, police responded to a report of a male pedestrian swinging a knife around. Nobody was threatened or harmed by the male. Police located and arrested the male in the area of 34th street and Elviss Cres. He was found to be under the influence of illicit drugs and in possession of a kitchen knife. The 35-year-old male was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will be released once sober to appear in court on February 3, 2022 on a charge of Possession of a Weapon.
