Female (29) arrested for assault

On October 25, 2022 shortly before 2:00 am, police responded to a report of an intoxicated female causing problems at a residence.  Individuals at a second residence agreed to look after her; however, a short time later they too call police indicating the female’s unwanted behavior was continuing.

The female was arrested for Breach of the Peace and lodged at Brandon Police Service to prevent her actions from continuing.  While she was being lodged, she spit in the face of a Commissionaire who was working in the detention unit at the time.  The 29-year-old female was arrested for assault and will be released once sober to appear in court on December 29, 2022 on a charge of Assault.
