Police use taser to subdue uncooperative suspect

A 24 year old resident of Brandon Has been charged with 2 counts of Possession of a Weapon, Assault Police with a Weapon, Resist Arrest as well as two counts of Failing to Comply with a Probation Order.  The Accused was in the 300 block of 9^th Street armed with a large knife and brass knuckles.  He refused to drop the weapons and made aggressive movements toward police forcing officers to deploy a conducted energy weapon (Taser) on the male.  After two deployments the male was disarmed and taken into custody.  He has been held in custody to appear in court.
