Theft of Vehicle, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose

On January 20, 2024, at 00:58am, a resident in the 0 hundred block of 20^th Street reported that her vehicle had just been stolen.  A short time later, police located the stolen vehicle in the 1400 block of Rosser Avenue and arrested a 35 year old male responsible for the theft.    At the time of the arrest, the male was in possession of a knife.  The male was lodged at the Brandon Police Station and later released with a future court date.
