Police investigate downtown robbery involving baton

At 1:57 pm, Police received a report of a robbery that occurred in the alley in the 300 block between 15th ST and 16th St. The adult male victim was walking in the alley when he was approached by two males who were not known to him. One of the suspects struck him in the arm twice with a baton and then after taking a small amount of cash from him struck him in the head with the baton and fled the scene. The victim was transported to BRHC where he was treated for his injuries and released. Police are on the lookout for two suspects described as:

  1. Indigenous male, approximately 6’3 in his mid 20’s wearing a red hoodie, red sweat pants.
  2. Indigenous male, approximately 5’10 wearing a black ball cap with a black puffy jacket and had a tattoo under his right eye.

We are asking anyone who might have any information or video surveillance of the suspects to contact Police.
