Robbery with a Weapon

On June 18^th at 11:27am police were called to an establishment on Middleton Avenue reporting a robbery. A male had pulled a knife demanding all the money in the till. Upon receiving approximately $300 cash he fled on foot. Brandon Police K-9 unit tracked the male to a nearby establishment. Video footage confirmed the suspect going into the secondary location and emerged in different clothing. Police arrested a 24 year old male. He was found to be in breach of his release order stating he must live in Winnipeg, must notify the court of any changes, and must not be in possession of any weapons. He was held in custody with court on June 19^th, 2024.
