Three arrested after residential B&E
On the evening of 2024-07-20, police responded to a residence on Kerr place as the homeowner was confronted by 2 males and 1 female that had entered the home through the unlocked door. The 3 individuals were not known to the homeowner and had fled in a vehicle prior to police arrival. Home video showed the suspects to be masked, with one of them being in possession of a firearm. In the early hours of 2024-07-21, police were patrolling the 600 block of 15th Street when two individuals were observed and noted to be matching the descriptions of the suspects from the incident on Kerr place. A 36-year-old male and a 35-year-old female were taken into custody without incident and have been lodged at BPS to appear for court 2024-07-21 for the charges of Break and Enter, and Disguise with Intent. Further investigation led to the 300 block of 15th Street where police located and arrested the third suspect. The firearm involved has been recovered by police and identified as a shotgun. A 32-year-old male has been lodged at BPS and will appear in court 2024-07-22 for the charges of Break and Enter, Disguise with Intent, and numerous firearms charges.
