Armed Robbery, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Failure to Comply with Undertaking X2

On September 6^th at 11:22AM health authorities reported to police that a male had been bear maced and had a gun pulled on him the previous night. Victim was a 39-year-old male. Video surveillance shows the victim outside smoking in the 100 block of 13^th street when he was approached by four male suspects who pulled a sawed-off firearm, machete, and a canister of bear mace on him. They surrounded him and demanded his belongings. Once he did so one of the suspects discharged the cannister of bear mace striking the victim. Suspects then fled on foot.

An 18-year-old male was identified as one of the suspects and he was arrested at his residence on September 9^th, 2024. He was held in detention cells for court in the morning on September 10^th, 2024.

Another 18-year-old male was identified as co-accused. Police attended his residence on September 9^th, 2024, where he had the victim’s belongings and a can of bear mace. The male was arrested and held in detention cells for court in the morning on September 10^th, 2024.
