Brutal Assault and Robbery in Downtown Business: Four Youths Arrested

At 2:14 pm, a call was received of a fight in a business in the 800 block of Rosser Ave. When Police arrived at scene they located a 30 year old female who had been assaulted and sustained significant non-life threatening injuries and was transported to BRHC for treatment. Video surveillance showed the victim was surrounded by three female youths who began punching her, knocking her to the ground, where they continued to punch and kick her. A male youth then joined in and proceeded to kick the victim while she was on the ground as well. The suspects stole her cell phone and then fled the scene. Police continued to search for the suspects and were able to apprehend all four suspects over the next couple of hours. Two 14 year old females, a 17 year old female and a 15 year old male were all arrested and charged with robbery with violence. The three females were all remanded into custody, and the 15 year old male was later released on an Undertaking
