Shoplifter elbows employee during theft, golf cart stolen

Theft Under $5000 / Assault

On July 13th at approximately 12:59 PM, an employee at a business located in the 800 block of 18th Street reported the theft of merchandise valued at approximately $200. When the employee attempted to intervene, the female suspect struck the employee in the chest with her elbow. A description of the suspect was provided, and responding officers subsequently located and arrested the individual. She was later released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on September 22, 2025.

Theft Under $5000

On July 13^th at 2:19PM it was reported that a golf cart had been stolen off a trailer parked outside a business in the 1600 block of Park Avenue. At 9:55PM police were informed that the golf cart had been spotted in the backyard of a residence in the 100 block of Frederick Street. Police attended the residence and located a 38-year-old male in possession of the keys to the golf cart. The male was arrested and brought to BPS detention cells for further processing.
