Endorsed RCMP Arrest Warrant + Various New Charges

On July 14th at 5:07 PM, police responded to a report in the 2400 block of Ottawa Avenue regarding a female waving a knife around. The 34-year-old woman, identified as the male’s ex-girlfriend, had attempted to stab him and had also damaged a television and smashed the windshield of the 41-year-old male’s vehicle. Upon police arrival, the woman provided false identification, resulting in an additional charge of Public Mischief. She was arrested and held in BPS detention cells, with a court appearance scheduled for the morning of July 15th, 2025.  Charges: Endorsed RCMP Warrant of Arrest, Assault with a Weapon, Mischief Under $5000, and Public Mischief.’

Theft of Motor Vehicle / Mischief Under $5000

As a result of the investigation into the golf cart theft on July 13th, a 38-year-old male suspect was arrested later that evening. During a subsequent interview, he admitted to the theft. He was charged and released on an Undertaking, with a scheduled court appearance on September 18th, 2025.
