Man Suspect Pulls Pellet Gun on Safety Officer, Arrested for Weapon Possession Violation

On July 23^rd at 8:50PM a First Nations Safety Officer reported that a male suspect pulled a pellet gun on them when they told him to leave the hotel property. The individual did however leave without incident and was followed until BPS officers arrived and intercepted. The 34-year-old male was found to be in possession of a pellet pistol as well as a wooden baton. The male is currently on probation with a condition not to possess or carry any weapons. He was arrested, held in BPS detention cells and will attend court in the morning on July 24^th, 2025.
