Assault with a Weapon / Possession of a Weapon

On July 29^th at 12:33AM Police responded to a report that a female had just been chased by a male with a handgun near a hotel on the 3100 block of Victoria Avenue. Police attended and located the victim with hotel security and a First Nation Safety Officer. BPS officers patrolled the area and located the suspect on the east side of the hotel. He was arrested, held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning on July 29^th, 2025.

Theft Under $5000 / Breach of Undertaking

On July 29^th at 4:04PM a Loss Prevention Officer from a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue reported that they had a male detained for shoplifting. The male was on previous conditions not to attend the store. BPS officers attended and arrested the 42-year-old male. He was later released on an Appearance Notice with a court date of September 22^nd, 2025.
