Police Arrest Two Suspects in Attempted Armed Robbery on 9th Street

On August 18^th at 8:13PM a male reported he was walking home with his groceries when he was approached by a male and female in the 300 block of 9^th Street. The male asked what he had while attempting to cut him. Onlookers gathered and the suspects fled. At 1:21AM police located the suspects matching the description. The 33-year-old male was arrested, held in BPS detention cells and will attend court in the morning. He was charged with Attempted Armed Robbery and Failure to Comply Probation Order (Abstain from owning, possessing, or carrying a weapon).

The 23-year-old female was charged with Party to the Offence of Armed Robbery. She was released via Undertaking with a court date of October 16^th, 2025.
