2025 School Board Trustee Nominations Close, Election Slated for October 16

The Senior Election Official for the Brandon School Division wishes to advise that the official nomination period for those intending to run for the position of School Trustee has closed. Seven (7) persons filed their papers and met the nomination requirements:

The by-election is required after the resignation of former trustee Blaine Foley earlier this year. The election will take place on Thursday, October 16, 2025. In addition to Election Day, Advance Voting opportunities will be available on October 8th and 11th at Brandon City Hall and the Pioneer Lounge at the Keystone Centre respectively. An eligible voter may also apply to vote by Sealed Envelope if they have reason to believe that they will be unable to vote at a regular Voting Place on Election Day or during Advance Voting opportunities.
